porcelain)亦稱(chēng)“缸器”，介于陶器與瓷器之間的制品。原料常用含較多伊利石類(lèi)黏土。坯體易于致密燒結，吸水率一般在6%以下，不透明，無(wú)釉，也不透水。質(zhì)地致密堅硬，跟瓷器相似，多為棕色、黃褐色或灰藍色。許多化工陶瓷和建筑陶瓷屬炻器范圍。紫砂也屬于炻器。
